Scandent Solutions, a broad-based information technology solutions firm, on Tuesday announced that, it has partnered with Intelligenx, Inc. a leading developer of next-generation search and retrieval technology.
The partnership will allow Scandent to expand its offerings for enterprise customers and give them access to world-class search technology, tailored for specific vertical applications.
As per the agreement, Scandent will sell and implement the Intelligenx Discovery Engine and integrate the technology into customized applications designed for specific industry verticals. Intelligenx's technology provides a front-end search and browse solution that allow end-users to more efficiently and intelligently navigate their data stores and knowledge assets. No matter the application, deploying better search and information retrieval capabilities can lead to superior user experience, increased revenues, higher productivity and reduced costs.
Scandent will utilize Intelligenx's search technology to enable more effective access to information within a wide range of industry groups and applications, including within the legal vertical through Scandent Legal Solutions. Scandent selected the Intelligenx Discovery Engine over all other search technologies currently available in the marketplace.
It's Legal Solutions Division is an emerging unit within the firm that offers a one-stop approach by combining an integrated set of IT solutions with a legal process outsourcing capability, sourcing routine legal tasks, especially document review and basic legal research to lawyers resident offshore who are supervised by US Bar certified lawyers.
