Intelligenx's Discovery Engine incorporates patent-pending search and discovery technology specifically for online yellow pages and Local Search, enabling Google-like full-text search, while retaining a fundamental component of the business - the header categories. By allowing users to search for text and organizing search results into heading, location and categories, advertisers get more visibility and consumers can find what they are looking for without becoming frustrated from information overload.

The Intelligenx Discovery Engine is specifically designed for structured databases, with built-in features and functionalities that are highly suited for yellow page publishers. The technology combines the best aspects of a full-text search engine in combination with structured data output to enable highly intuitive search and retrieval for Internet users. Discovery Engine provides incredibly fast and scalable search and indexing, and helps to exploit the value of structured data by dynamically presenting search results organized by multiple categorizations that exist in the database. Its combination of both structured and full-text search ensures that all queries present results utilizing categories from a taxonomy or normalized keywords associated with the data.
