Sales Engineers #757

Sales engineers needed to Develop and Support Discovery Engine IT solutions that align with business initiatives for clients.

Collaborate with technical teams to understand clients business requirements, process and procedures to propose appropriate solutions.

Propose solutions that involve implementing Discovery Engine application and server built using Eclipse, HTML, JavaScript, J2EE, MySQL, ASP, JSP, Struts, JDBC, Weblogic, Tomcat web server, Linux, Maven, Lucene, PHP, XML.

Propose solutions for testing. Develop, coordinate and conduct technical sales demonstrations of solutions with senior IT leadership and ensure adequate sales and technical support service.

Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements and make trial demonstrations or installations to the clients.

Conduct and oversee development and support related to live installations and projects etc.

Must have Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/CIS/IT/Systems Engg/MIS and 1 year experience in job offered or in any IT field. Experience in alternate occupations must include design and implementation of systems using HTML, JavaScript, J2EE, ASP, JSP, Struts, JDBC, and Weblogic. In lieu of Master’s degree or foreign equivalent and 1 year experience, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and 5 years post-baccalaureate progressive experience or any other suitable combination of education, experience, or training.

Note that 1 year experience in alternative occupations listed in Item 10 is not additional, but included in Master's + 1 year or Bachelor’s + 5 years requirement.

Job Location: Herndon, VA and other unanticipated locations throughout the US.
