Given Intelligenx's background and experience in local search, mobile search and mobile technologies was a natural extension of the Intelligenx offering.  We offer a wide-range of capabilities in mobile-oriented applications with a particular expertise in search.

Mobile Web

Intelligex has extensive experience implementing mobile-optimized HTML sites compatible with web browsers in most mobile phones. This "light" language/format is optimized for small screen sizes and making effective usage of phone resources.

SMS

SMS, while simple, is still a very effective way to conduct simple web and search based application.  With a 140 character or less query send to a particular short-code, Intelligenx can conduct a search and return one or multiple messages with the most relevant search result.   The SMS search applications are great for simple lookups.

Web-Mobile Integration

In addition to pure SMS based search applications, there can be a mixed implementation where user has the ability to send web based search results to a mobile phone via SMS as well as the ability to have user accounts linked by mobile phone number so preferences generated on the web can be accessed by the mobile - and vice-versa.

Mobile Applications

There are many phone brands and models which use different operative systems. For each one of these platforms, Intelligenx is able to develop custom applications that could be installed in devices such as:

• Smart Phones and Pocket PC (Windows Mobile)

Most of mentioned devices support Java client applications (J2ME) which is a framework that enables fully usage of device capabilities like GPS, Carrier Cell location, custom presentation, phone calls integration, etc.

Location Based Services

With Location Services using the GPS receiver embedded in many mobile devices, Intelligenx can offer a "What's Nearby?" search that returns results in several popular categories such as restaurants, service stations, and coffee shop that are close the the actual physical ocation of the user.

Maps and Driving Directions

Intelligenx can integrate with mobile maps from several providers to display search results on an interactive map.  Select a signel search results, and we can generate driving directions from the user's present location to their destination.
