Job Description:
This position requires a dynamic, versatile, and entrepreneurial candidate with background and experience in technology, product marketing, and business development. The qualified candidate will be business minded but love technology. The role will be split between a) internally driving engineering from a product management perspective and b) externally managing partners and customers to drive value and business opportunities.
- Identifying customer and market needs in this area; translating these requirements into product features; writing product specifications; developing collateral.

Working with Engineering in the evaluation of product requirements and trade off.

Helping manage relationships with technology partners.

Expanding account/partner relationships - driving increased revenue as appropriate.

Providing internal /external product support and training and contribute to product documentation.

Managing product user group, product road map and product life cycle management.
Key Responsabilities:
- Product Management Function
- Marketplace understanding and expertise

Serve as primary product expert and evangelist.

Lead product design, development and release process for assigned products and maintain the product development road map.

Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects.

Create detailed use cases, business requirements, and marketing requirements.

Support marketing, sales and support through leading the development and maintenance of various technical marketing collateral including application notes, FAQs, product notes, user guides, field training presentations, online marketing content and demos.

Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Coordinate beta testing of new products and features.

Document and report problems and recommend solutions/improvements to program managers.

Participate in product performance benchmarking activities.

Actively participate in product strategy, marketing, and business development.

International Travel Required
Minimum requirements:
-
5+ years in software product management and/or consulting
-
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
-
Strong end-user perspective

Ability to interface with customers and partners
-
VERY well read, current knowledge of the internet, technology, and new media.

Understanding of Enterprise Software

Understanding of Consumer Facing Websites - ideally search application

Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Education - 4 year degree required; MBA or relevant masters desirable
Preferred requirements:
- Consulting or pre-sales experience a plus
